The Jack Morgan Museum had a variety of interesting displays showing equipment used in farming, logging blacksmithy and mechanics from the pioneer and settlers in the area.
We then drove on to Helena Bay for a good lunch and then a scenic drive North along the coast back to the Bay of Islands.
A fine day for the first day of Spring and Fathers day gave us a good turnout for Breakfast with the cars. Two Clubs from Whangarei joined us and we had over seventy cars. Charlottes was very busy and had one hundred and fifty breakfasts but coped very well
The BOI Classic and Sports Car Club is a friendly group of car enthusiasts who organise a casual event every month to places of interest and frequently with a lunch somewhere.
